About Us

Lyons Engineering is an engineering consulting firm started by Dan Lyons, BSME (NJIT), MSME (Penn State), PE, who has over 12 years experience as a mechanical engineer with 9 years in CFD and 1.5 years in FEA. Dan worked in the hydro-turbine industry for 10 years. Dan's Master's thesis at Penn State was in CFD.  He also worked with rotary kilns and inclined platform wheelchair lifts. Dan strives to have integrity be the guiding principal in his personal and professional life.
